Konzeption und Ausstellungsgestaltung: Herbert Ohl, Herbert W. Kapitzki, Bernd Meurer, Eckhard Jung, Michael Klar
Auf der Weltausstellung 1967 in Montreal zeigte sich die Bundesrepublik in einem aufsehenerregenden Zeltpavillon, den die Architekten Frei Otto und Rolf Gutbrod entworfen hatten. Für eine Ausstellungssektion im Pavillon hatte die HfG den Auftrag erhalten, den bundesdeutschen Alltag darzustellen. Hierfür entwickelte die Arbeitsgruppe um die Dozenten Herbert Ohl und Herbert W. Kapitzki ein Informationssystem, das Diaprojektionen zeigte. Ihre auffällige Form brachte den kugelförmigen Displays die nicht ganz präzise Bezeichnung Ulmer Eier ein. Weitere Displays erstreckten sich unterhalb der Kugelkalotten und lieferten zusätzliche Informationen.
